"See, how she leans her cheek upon her hand! O that I were a glove upon that hand, that I might touch that cheek!"

Romeo and Juliet (Act II, Sc. II)

Dear Friends:

February, a month set aside for Love. Seems so strange to think of love as something you call upon once a year. Something so vital to our essence seems rather important to call upon with every breath.

So in celebration of Love, and the birth anniversary of Kirpal Singh, I thought Id take this time to embrace all of you with the words about love written by Kirpal Singh. At the same time, Id like to express my deep appreciation for your continued interest in my work and your sweet friendships.

GOD is love and love is God
And the way back to God
is also through love KS

Our soul is of the same essence as that of God, so love is innate in us Always remember this divine principle:

Love Begets Love

The highest expression in creation--the human being--is next to God. It is considered to be such great good fortune to attain the human birth that even the gods and goddesses are anxiously seeking it.

The human body is a precious asset. It is the highest rung in God's creation. The highest object of this earth life in human form is to realize our own selves and then realize God. It is such a noble task, which can only be accomplished in the human body.

Soul is a conscious entity, a drop of the Ocean of All Consciousness, and in its miniature capacity carries all the divine attributes of Godhood. Since it is environed by mind and matter, it has lost its heritage and forgotten its origin, the True Home of the Father.

We, who are at present enjoying the human life, should consider ourselves most fortunate and should try to appreciate what God has given through His grace.

GOD is love and love is God. Our soul is of the same essence as that of God, so love is innate in us The way back to God is also through love.

Love is the panacea for all ills. Please give up all remorse and resentment and live cheerfully. You should remember that nothing binds the human soul more than drooping spirits of morbidity. Always keep cheerful.

One learns swimming in water. Be alive to your obligations and try to meet with the challenge as best as you can and leave the rest to God. If you will keep the target of your spiritual progress in the forefront, the pinching effect of worldly pains will be lost with the Gods Grace. An elegant horseman keeps both of his feet well fixed in the stirrups. If you will run Godward, all else will follow of its own accord.

A disciplined life is an asset; make it a principle to be always happy, cheerful and grateful. Prayer and gratitude are akin. There is much to be grateful for, if we only just count the manifold blessings granted to us. Always radiate loving compassion for others which will invoke divine grace, and your heart will be purified.

If you will take one step, God will come down hundreds of steps to greet you.

Kirpal Singh

I wish you a Valentine, or two, or more and the sweet scent of roses said to be the fragrance of saints. God bless. OM
